Progress feels good…

So I finished one whole yarn ball making these cute little squares. It’s actually called skein I found out.

I’m learning so much crochet lingo now…gotta love YouTube tutorials. Really feeling a sense of accomplishment. I did run out of the color I was using…so did the craft store. So I thought I might be able to use one of the other colors I have to fill in the spots and put it all together.

I’ve never been one to stick through with something for long enough to see the end. Now that the end is near I can’t stop! Good thing I’m making two baby blankets.

Two lessons learned about crafting…1) stick with it. It’s worth it to have something done. 2) buy two skeins of the same color if it’s your first time and you had already set out to make a blanket.

Two lessons I learned about myself…1) being an adult learner is hard! You want to be good at something right out the gate. But that’s just not reality. 2) be patient. With yourself and the process. The real growth happens on the way to the end.
